Wrap a soft tape around your Poodle's neck and the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, then match the numbers to the chart. Measure against the body, under the curls, not over a full coat. Landing between two sizes? Go by the chest and pick the smaller one. Chest under 34 cm or neck under 24 cm? Size S will be too loose to be secure — email us before you order.

Why a harness made specifically for Poodles?

Toy and Miniature Poodles don't have average proportions: a fine-boned frame, a deep chest on a slim build and a curly coat that changes volume between grooms. Harnesses sized for “small dogs” tend to gape at the chest or rotate sideways on them. Ours is cut around the Poodle build, which gives a steadier, more comfortable fit than a generic harness.

What are the 3 leash attachment points for?

They give you options depending on the walk. Use the front point to steady a Poodle who pulls, or the back point for relaxed everyday strolls — whatever suits your dog's habits and training.

How do I choose the right size?

Weight is only a rough guide — two Poodles of the same weight can have very different chests. Measure the neck and the widest part of the chest with a soft tape and compare them to the sizing chart above.

Between sizes? The chest measurement matters most — go by the chest and size down.

Can my Poodle back out of the harness?

Once every strap is adjusted properly, the harness sits snug and secure, which makes backing out much harder. Check the fit before each walk — you should be able to slide two fingers under each strap, no more.

Does it work for both Toy and Miniature Poodles?

Yes. Miniatures are taller and deeper in the chest than Toys, so measure rather than guessing. Size S starts at a 34 cm chest and a 24 cm neck — if your Toy Poodle measures less than that, email us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether it will fit.

What about a curly coat?

Measure against the body rather than over the curls, and re-check the straps after each groom — a freshly clipped Poodle needs them a little tighter. Any harness can rub a curly coat if it's left on all day, so take it off after walks and brush through where the straps sit.
