WHY SHE WON'T SETTLE

Your Dog Isn’t Misbehaving.
They Need More Stimulation.

A morning stroll and a chew toy can help, but they don’t always burn the mental energy that leads to chewing, pacing, barking, or restlessness. Give your dog a better outlet one that keeps them engaged, focused, and finally calm.

  • Switches Her Working Brain On

A walk burns her muscles. The Navea™ activates the part that was bred to plan, push, and problem-solve. That's the part that finally tires her out for real.

  • Brain Work Beats Long Walks

Strategizing how to move a 22-inch ball across the yard engages her mind more than two hours of fetch ever could. The mental load is what gets her to finally settle down.

  • Redirects The Drive That Wrecks Your House

Chewing the couch, nipping at heels, digging up the yard those are herding behaviors with nowhere to go. Give them the right outlet and most of it disappears within weeks.

  • She Plays. You Sit Down.

No throwing. No fetching. No coaching. Toss it in the yard and she runs her own session. Self-employed exercise for working dogs who refuse to be bored.

BITE-TESTED. HOLE-PROOF.

They'll Try Everything.
We Designed For That.

Every failure mode a dog can find exposed seams, visible zippers, a plug to pry at we removed before it shipped. What remains is a cover system with nothing to grip, nothing to fray, and nothing your dog can start. The Navea™ is engineered to outlast her determination.

  • Bite-deterrent cover no grip points, no seams to fray
  • Double YKK zippers recessed under a protective flap
  • Anti-burst inner bladder slow deflate, never a pop
  • Sized so they push and chase not grab and chew
6+ months average daily lifespan
They'll Try Everything.
GET SIX MONTHS OF DAILY PLAY

Treat It Like A Tool. She'll Treat It Like A Job.

The Navea™ is a herding tool, not a chew toy. Owners who use it that way get 6–12 months out of theirs and a calmer dog the whole time.

Treat It Like A Tool. She'll Treat It Like A Job.
20 MINUTES CALM FOR HOURS
  1. Always Size Up When You're On The Fence

The ball must be too big to fit in her mouth. That's the whole mechanism. If she can grip it, she'll chew it and the herding instinct never kicks in.

  2. Push And Chase Never Carry And Crush

If she sits down to gnaw on it, pick it up and redirect. It's not a teething ring it's a workout tool. The distinction matters every session.

  3. Off The Lawn At Sunset

Indoor storage doubles its lifespan. UV fades the cover, cold nights drop the air pressure, and leaving it out overnight invites unsupervised chewing.

  4. Soft Surfaces Only

Grass, dirt, or turf not concrete, gravel, or decks with exposed screws. Check your yard for sticks and thorns before each session.

ONE RULE: TOO BIG TO BITE

Match Her Size. Then Round Up.

The only rule that matters: the ball must be too large for her to grip with her mouth. That's what activates the herding instinct instead of the chewing one. When in doubt always go one size larger.

From owners who tried everything else first.

Andrew R.

"My husky had zero interest in every toy I tried. The second I put the Navea™ down, something switched. They locked onto it immediately and pushed it around the yard for twenty minutes straight. They came inside and slept for three hours. First time I've ever seen them actually tired."

Dewey T.

"I was walking my Aussie two hours a day and they were still bouncing off the walls at 10pm. Tried the Navea™ on a whim. Twenty minutes in the yard and they came inside, laid down, and didn't move for the rest of the evening. I actually cried a little."

Stacy & Julian M.

"We have two border collies and they invented a game where they take turns herding the Navea™ into the corner of the yard. We just stand there watching. It's the first toy that didn't end up in pieces within a week and the first time our living room has survived a full month."

WHAT BOREDOM ACTUALLY COSTS

The Hidden Tax Of An Unfulfilled Dog.

A bored herding breed isn't a one-time problem. She's a recurring bill. Daycare three days a week, the couch she shredded, the trainer you finally hired none of it fixes the root cause. The Navea™ does.

WHAT YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING

Answered Before You Ask.

Every question we've ever been asked by working-dog owners — answered honestly.

My dog destroys every 'indestructible' toy in two weeks. Is this actually different?

Yes — for a structural reason. Most 'indestructible' toys are built for chewers. The Navea™ is built for herders, which means it's sized so your dog physically can't get a grip in the first place. The push-and-nudge motion that herding instinct triggers is fundamentally different from biting and chewing. As long as you use it as a herding tool and size up when in doubt, most owners get 6–12 months out of theirs.

What if she won't engage with it the first day?

This happens with roughly 1 in 20 dogs. The fix is almost always the same: roll the ball away from her when she's not looking. Static objects don't trigger working-breed instincts. Motion does. Give it five minutes and a slow kick across the lawn before deciding it won't work. Most dogs click within the first session once they see it move.

How do I pick the right size?

Match her body weight to the size chart — then round up. The entire mechanism depends on the ball being too large to fit in her mouth. If she can grip it even slightly, she'll chew it instead of herd it. When in doubt, go larger. The extra size has never hurt a herding session. The wrong (smaller) size ends one.

Will it hurt her teeth or nose?

Not at all. The cover fabric is specifically chosen to be soft on noses and tooth-safe during repeated nose-pushing. Unlike rigid plastic balls — which vets increasingly warn against for causing dental wear — the Navea™ has no hard surfaces. It's designed for thousands of nose-contacts per session.

What if it gets a small puncture from a stick or thorn?

The inner bladder uses anti-burst material — small punctures cause a slow deflation over hours, not an immediate pop. The outer cover catches most yard debris before it reaches the bladder. Always scan your yard for sticks, thorns, and sharp objects before play, especially after lawn work or wind.

Does it hold air in winter?

Cold air contracts naturally, so the ball will lose some firmness during winter months. Top it off with the included pump every couple of weeks — it takes about 30 seconds. Always store indoors overnight. Cold and moisture together are what shorten the cover's lifespan, not the cold alone.

How long should I expect it to last?

The average with daily use is 6–12 months. Owners who follow the two main rules — treat it as a herding tool, not a chew toy, and store it indoors — consistently report theirs lasting past the one-year mark. The cover is the variable. The inner bladder is replaceable.

Can two dogs share one ball?

Often it works even better with two. Two herding dogs working the same ball start coordinating naturally — it becomes a pack exercise that burns even more mental energy than solo play. Size for the larger dog's mouth. One ball handles a whole multi-dog household.
