How It Happens
How a 2cm Wire Can Lead to Emergency Surgery
Understanding the danger means understanding the physics. A steel bristle typically measures between 1.5 and 3 centimeters. It's as thin as a sewing thread — but rigid, and razor-sharp at both ends after it snaps.
Step 1
The bristle snaps off during scrubbing. It lodges invisibly in the grooves or ridges of the grate — completely undetectable by sight.
